Identity

Know our personal past, the place where we live, the universe we inhabit; knowing our origins; understand how we function as living beings, how our organism is constituted, how we relate to others, how we interact with the environment.

Know how we deal with the acquired knowledge, how we communicate what we are, know and learn; learn to deal with the issues and challenges that arise throughout our lives, from adolescence to senior age and respond to the increasingly demanding responsibility of educating our children.

Through experience and education, we created an identity, becoming conscious, active and participatory citizens.

Mission

In articulation with the family and with the collaboration of an excellent team of professionals, with adequate academic and pedagogical training and who enjoy what they do, dedicating themselves to the cause of education daily, we help children and young people to grow.

Day after day, we provide them with clues, answer the questions they ask us and provide them with means for meaningful learning, making them more autonomous, critical, entrepreneurs, thinking and happy.

The integral formation of our educational offer, mirrored in our educational model, will certainly help each of our students to contribute to the construction of a more just and solidary society. At Colégio do Castanheiro, we bet on education for the best exercise of citizenship.
